Craig Minervini Not On Panthers Broadcasts

The Florida Panthers began their new Scripps Sports broadcast deal on Thursday night. One longtime broadcaster is no longer part of Panthers telecasts.
Craig Minervini, a Syracuse University grad, was left out of Florida Panthers broadcasts as a studio host. Jeff Chychrun is not back after five seasons as a studio analyst.
Minervini worked as the Florida Panthers television studio host from September 2003 until April 2012. Allison Williams and Frank Forte replaced him in that position for one season in 2012-13. Drew Goldfarb took over the position from 2013-14 to 2014-15.
Changes happened again and Minervini returned to the Panthers studio host spot in August 2015. He would remain there for nine seasons from 2015-16 until 2023-24.
He did have different television jobs before his first tenure on Florida Panthers telecasts. Minervini was a sideline reporter at World Wrestling Federation in the mid-1980s as Craig DeGeorge. He later became a sportscaster at WPBF-TV Channel 25 in West Palm Beach, WPTV-TV Channel 5 in West Palm Beach and at WTVJ-TV Channel 6 in Miami.
