The Fort Lauderdale Strikers had their six-game unbeaten streak snapped as they lost to the Ottawa Fury FC 2-0 at Lockhart Stadium on Saturday night. The Strikers dropped to sixth place while the Fury remained in first place for the NASL fall season.
Fort Lauderdale(5-3-5) surrendered the first goal during the 52nd minute as former Strikers forward Aly Alberto Hassan scored. Sinisa Ubiparipovic added a goal for Ottawa(8-l-4) in the 80th minute.
