Channing Crowder Stays With WQAM

Channing Crowder will remain at Miami Sports Radio 560 WQAM-AM as the afternoon co-host with Marc Hochman. Crowder's final day of his previous contract was on December 31 and he did co-host the Miami Dolphins pregame show on the station with Chris Wittyngham on Sunday.
Crowder, a former Miami Dolphins linebacker from 2005 until 2010, retired from the NFL in August 2011 and joined WQAM as a fill-in host and Miami Dolphins expert.  He became the early afternoon co-host with Adam Kuperstein in October 2012 and was with him until September 2013.
He then did a short three-month stint as the afternoon co-host with Brandon Guzio for the rest of the year. Crowder was moved back to the early afternoon shift and rejoined Kuperstein in January 2014 and stayed there until he was let go in July 2015.
Crowder returned to the station in August 2015 and co-hosted the afternoon program with Marc Hochman and Zach Krantz. A decision was made to move Krantz to the morning show with Joe Rose in May 2017.
