Predators Avoid Panthers

Harri Sateri made his first NHL start in goal for the Cats as the Nahsville Preadators topped the Florida Panthers 4-3 at Bridgestone Arena on Saturday night. The Panthers have lost five of their last seven games while the Predators won their fifth consecutive game.
It took just 36 seconds for Nashville(28-11-6) to score. Kevin Fiala put in the quick tally for the Preds. Florida(19-20-6) rallied back with two goals in the first period. Vincent Trocheck chalked up his 18th goal of the season at 11:16 and Derek MacKenzie scored his second goal of the campaign at 16:33.
The Predators dominated the second period with three goals in the frame. Nick Bonino powered in a goal at the 1:24 mark, Fiala put in his second goal of the contest midway through at 10:53 and P.K. Subban ripped a slap shot from the top right circle with 3:31 left.
The Panthers cut the margin to 4-3 with 9:34 remaining in the third. Keith Yandle did something that former Panthers Brent Severyn during the second season in franchise history. He was on the left wing of the neutral zone, angled his body like was he was going to send the puck around the end wall and instead blasted a slap shot by Pekka Rinne.
