The Palm Beach Central Broncos travel to face the Palm Beach Gardens Gators on Friday night in a District 9-8A clash. The Broncos have already wrapped up the district with the head-to-head tiebreaker against Wellington.
Palm Beach Central(7-1, 3-0) enters the contest on a seven-game winning streak after losing their season opener to Atlantic. The Broncos have outscored their opponents 294-57 and compiled three shutouts this year. They have not surrendered more than 14 points in a game.
The Broncos have their choice at quarterback with Anarjahe Douriet and Mike Moreland. They can go with running backs Charles Stewart, Da'quan Hamilton, Derrick Cruickshank and Tyler Willis on carries. Palm Beach Central has a wide receiver core of Bryan Robinson, Gen'taris Oliver, Kaishawn Curry, Kai Rosado and De'angelo Pompey.
Palm Beach Gardens(4-4, 1-2) won their first three games to begin the regular season. They have not faired well lately and have lost two straight and four of their last five games.
Gators quarterback David Studstill is expected to dictate the pace on offense. Running back Antonio Outler will likely get the bulk of their carries from the backfield. Studstill can rifle the ball to wide receivers Ja'varius Williams, Andrew Wilson, Belden Smith and Raphael Vasquez.
