St. Thomas Aquinas Falls To St. John Bosco

The St. Thomas Aquinas Raiders lost to the St. John Bosco Braves 20-7 at Simmons Family Field in Fort Lauderdale on Saturday. It was a matchup between two of the top high school football programs in the United States.
It was a calm first half as St. John Bosco(1-0) got the only score in the first quarter for a 7-0 lead. St. Thomas Aquinas(0-1) evened it up 7-7 early in the third quarter. The Braves chalked up a field goal later in the third and added 10 points in the final quarter.
The Raiders lost their first regular season game since their defeat at Jesuit during the 2021 campaign. St. Thomas Aquinas, the four-time defending FHSAA state champions, hosts Fort Myers next week.
