Boca Raton Burns Olympic Heights

The Boca Raton Bobcats blasted the Olympic Heights Lions 42-7 at Corey Lewis Stadium on Thursday night. It was a battle between two Boca Raton area schools just seven miles away from each other.
Boca Raton(3-1) climbed out to a 7-0 lead in the first quarter. Running back Trey Rainey was able to rush in from four yards away.
The Bobcats would dominate the second quarter. Rainey carried the ball 37 yards for a score at the 9:34 mark. He followed that on their next possession with an 89-yard touchdown run at 8:11 for a 20-point margin.
Olympic Heights(1-2) surrendered another touchdown several minutes later. Defensive back Jonny Caverly recovered a fumble and sprinted into the end zone. They converted a two-point conversion as wide receiver Jerome Puckett caught a ball from quarterback Jacob Cashion to make it 28-0.
Boca Raton scored on the final play of the first half when Cashion fired a 45-yard touchdown pass to Puckett for a 35-point gap. A running clock was implemented during the second half of play.
