Miami Heat Radio Voice Mike Inglis Retires

Miami Heat radio play-by-play announcer Mike Inglis has retired. He has been the radio voice of the Heat for the past 23 seasons.
Inglis announced all three Miami Heat NBA championship teams in 2006, 2012 and 2013. He worked all six NBA Finals that the team has been involved in.
He previously was the radio play-by-play announcer for the Indiana Pacers and Toronto Raptors. Inglis replaced Dave Halberstam as the new Miami Heat radio voice in 1998.
Inglis was the fourth English language radio play-by-play announcer in Heat history following Sam Smith, Eric Reid and Dave Halberstam. His game analysts during his reign with the Miami Heat included Ed Pinckney, Tony Fiorentino, John Crotty and Ruth Riley Hunter.
