Ravens Promote Devonta Freeman

The Baltimore Ravens will have running back Devonta Freeman in their lineup this weekend. He signed on to their practice squad last week.
Freeman played high school football with the Miami Central Rockets and helped them win the FHSAA Class 6A state championship in 2010. He then attended Florida State University for three years.
He was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the fourth round of the 2014 NFL Draft. Freeman captured an NFC championship with them in 2016. The Falcons lost Super Bowl LI to the New England Patriots in the first overtime in Super Bowl history.
Freeman played six seasons with the Falcons and rushed for 3,972 yards and 32 touchdowns in 77 games. He was with the New York Giants for five contests last season and compiled 54 carries for 172 rushing yards and one touchdown.
