The Deerfield Beach Bucks went north on I-95 and lost to the Rockledge Raiders 7-0 on Friday night at Roe McCardy Stadium. Deerfield Beach(3-2) reached the midway point of the regular season.
Rockledge(5-0) got the only score of the contest with 5:11 left in the first quarter. The Bucks tried a flea-flicker play, however quarterback Michael Merdinger was stripped of the ball at the two-yard line by linebacker D.J. McCormick and he recovered it in the end zone for a touchdown.
