Petrovic played his first seven NHL seasons with the Florida Panthers from 2012-13 to 2018-19. He compiled 49 points in 254 games with the Cats.

Alexander Petrovic Stays With Stars
Former Florida Panthers defenseman Alexander Petrovic will remain with the Dallas Stars organization. He has signed a two-way, two-year contract with the club. Petrovic returned back to the NHL level participating in one regular season contest and seven postseason games this year.
