Marlins Blanked By Phillies

     The Miami Marlins were shut out by the Philadelphia Phillies 2-0 on Friday night at Citizens Bank Park. Both clubs began the second half of the regular season. 
     Philadelphia(54-28) moved out to a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the fifth. Bryson Stott grounded into a force out and Whit Merrifield scored.
     Miami(29-53) surrendered one more run during the eighth inning. Stott knocked in Johan Rojas with a sacrifice fly to left field.
