Florida Panthers Finish 2024 NHL Draft

     The Florida Panthers completed the 2024 NHL Draft at The Sphere in Las Vegas on Saturday. The Cats had several draft picks from the second round to the seventh round. 
     Florida traded up to get Djurgardens IF center Linus Eriksson during the second round at 57th overall. The Cats selected Krasnaya Armiya Moskva defenseman Matvei Shuravin with the 97th overall pick in the third round. In the fourth round, they decided on Rogle BK center Simon Zether with the 129th selection.  
     The Panthers had two selections in the sixth round. They choose Belye Medvedi Chelyabinsk center Stephan Gorbunov with the 169th overall pick and Medicine Hat center Hunter St. Martin with the 193rd pick. Florida finished off their draft getting Tyuman Jr. goalie Denis Gabdrakhmnov with the 201st overall selection in the seventh round.
