University of Miami Hurricanes running back Mark Fletcher Jr. is on the magazine cover of the 2026 Athlon Sports college football magazine. He was on the Southeast regional cover.
Fletcher played high school football with the American Heritage Patriots. He captured a FHSAA Class 5A state championship in 2020 and reached the Class 2M state title game against the Miami Central Rockets in 2022.
He has been with the Hurricanes for the past three seasons. Fletcher helped the Canes get to the 2025 CFP National Championship Game where they fell to the University of Indiana Hoosiers. He has 433 carries for 2,313 rushing yards and 26 touchdowns in 37 contests with Miami.
