Phillies Shut Out Marlins

The Philadelphia Phillies blanked the Miami Marlins 1-0 at loanDepot park on Monday night. Miami(16-19) catcher Joe Mack made his Major League Baseball debut tonight. The Phillies are 6-1 since Don Mattingly took over as manager.
The Phillies and the Fish finished off a four-game wraparound weekend series. The Marlins continue their 10-game homestand tomorrow against the Baltimore Orioles.
Philadelphia(15-20) moved out to a 1-0 lead in the top of the third. Bryce Harper walloped a solo home run to right field on a 1-1 pitch for his seventh homer of the season. He tied Gil Hodges and Freddie Freeman with his 370th home run of his MLB career.
