Phillies Blanked By Marlins

The Philadelphia Phillies were shut out by the Miami Marlins 4-0 on Saturday at loanDepot park. The Marlins continued their long 10-game homestand. The Phillies had their four-game winning streak snapped by the Fish.
Miami(16-17) had a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the second. Agustin Ramirez walked with the bases loaded and Kyle Stowers scored. Norby followed with a bases-loaded walk and Otto Lopez crossed the plate.
The Marlins expanded it to 3-0 in the fifth inning. Xavier Edwards hammered a solo home run to right field on a 1-1 pitch for his second homer of the year.
Philadelphia(13-20) gave up another run in the bottom of the sixth and they trailed 4-0. Lopez got an infield single for Esteury Diaz to score.
