Phillies Blitz Marlins

The Philadelphia Phillies dominated the Miami Marlins 7-2 on Sunday at loanDepot park. Both clubs will finish their four-game wraparound series on Monday.
Philadelphia(14-20) fired out with six runs during the top of the first for a 6-0 lead. Alec Bohm got to first with the bases loaded on a fielder's choice with Trea Turner scoring. Brandon Marsh then walked for Kyle Schwarber to score. J.T. Realmuto followed with a sacrifice fly to center field and Bryce Harper crossed the plate.
Bryson Stott came up next and belted a three-run homer barely over the right-center field fence on a 2- 2 pitch. Bohm and Marsh scored in front of him on the play.
The Phillies extended their lead to 7-0 in the third inning. Justin Crawford singled through the right side and Realmuto raced home.
Miami(16-18) closed it to 7-2 in the bottom of the seventh. Esteury Ruiz lifted a two-run home run to left field on a 2-2 count with Leo Gimenez aboard.
