The Florida Panthers have named Jack Capuano as their new associate coach. He will work on the coaching staff under recently hired head coach Bob Boughner.
Capuano was best known for his long reign as the head coach of the New York Islanders from November 2010 until late into January 2017. He was second all-time in Islanders history with 227 career coaching victories behind Al Arbour. Capuano led his team to a first round series win over the Florida Panthers during the 2016 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
