Marlins Can Not Sweep Dodgers

The Miami Marlins finished a seven-game home stand and lost to the defending National League champion Los Angeles Dodgers 7-0 at Marlins Park on Thursday. The Fish took four out of six games in the season series this year.
The Matlins will now play 16 of their next 19 games on the road. The Dodgers saw the end of a six-game losing streak.
Los Angeles(17-26) was able to load the bases in the third inning against Marlins starting pitcher Caleb Smith. Justin Turner lined a three-run double to left field with one out that scored Yasiel Puig, Chris Taylor and Austin Barnes. Matt Kemp followed with a ground-rule double to center field which brought in Turner to make it  4-0.
Miami(16-27) reliever Junichi Tazawa was greeted immediately in the top of the fourth by the Dodgers. Puig came to the plate with one out and blasted a solo home run to left field on the first pitch. It was second homer of the series for him and third of the season. Turner later ripped a double down the left-field line that scored Taylor and Barnes with two outs.
