The Palm Beach Lakes Rams hosted the South Dade Buccaneers at Dick Melear Stadium and lost 9-0 in a two-quarter spring football game. It was a general surprise because the Buccaneers had just participated in a two-quarter contest against Rockledge while Palm Beach Lakes was fresh and playing on their home field.
The Buccaneers made it 7-0 with 4:32 left in the second quarter on a seven-yard pass by quarterback Demetrius Burns. South Dade got a safety at the 3:13 mark when a bad snap from center was recovered by a Rams running back in the end zone. South Dade completed the day with a 1-1 mark.
