Diamondbacks Sweep Marlins

     The Arizona Diamondbacks swept the Miami Marlins with a 6-1 win at Chase Park on Sunday. The Marlins have lost six consecutive games and are now 1-6 on their 10-game road trip. The D-Backs outscored the Fish 21-4 in the three-game series.
     Arizona(31-27) loaded the bases during the bottom of the fifth. David Descalso grounded out to first for Nick Ahmed to score.
     In the seventh inning, the Diamonbacks added a couple of runs to go up 3-0. Descalco hit a sacrifice fly to center where Lewis Brinson make a fielding error. Jarrod Dyson and Ketel Marte scored on the play.
     Miami(20-39) surrendered another three runs in the eighth inning. David Peralta popped a solo home run to left field on a 0-1 pitch from Tayron Guerrero. It was the third straight contest that he homered against the Marlins. Chris Owings would later score on a wild pitch from third. Marte lined the ball through the left side of the infield and it kept rolling to the left-center field for a triple. Ahmed scored his second run of the game to make it 6-0.
     The Marlins finally scored in the top of the ninth. Justin Bour skyed a double to the top of the center-field wall that brought in J.T. Realmuto.
