Marlins End Losing Streak Against Cards

     The Miami Marlins ended a six-game losing streak as they topped the St. Louis Cardinals 7-4 at Busch Stadium on Tuesday night. The Fish have won four of their last 16 games. Marlins starting pitcher won his first game after beginning the season with a 0-7 record.
     The Cards moved out to a 1-0 lead in the first inning. Yadiel Molina knocked in former Marlin Marcell Ozuna with a base hit into left field.
     Miami(21-39) responded with two runs in the top of the second. Justin Bour grounded into a double play for Stalin Castro to score. Brian Anderson then hit an infield single that scored Derek Dietrich.
     St. Louis(32-26) tied it 2-2 in the second. Tommy Pham ended up grounding out into double play for Matt Carpenter to score.
     The Marlins stretched the margin to 5-2 in the fifth inning. Bour drove in Dietrich with a sacrifice fly to left. Anderson followed smashing a two-run homer to right field on a 2-1 pitch.
     The Cardinals stayed close in the bottom of the frame with two runs to make it 5-4. Luke Voit scored on a fielder's choice by Pham. Ozuna came up next and singled to left which brought in Jose Martinez.
     In the sixth inning, Miami was able to pull away from the Redbirds. J.T. Riddle cracked a solo home run to center field on a 2-0 count. J.B. Schuck later scored on a sacrifice fly by Dietrich to third.
