The Los Angeles Lakers got by the Miami Heat 102-96 in Game 4 of the NBA Finals on Tuesday night. The Lakers lead the best-of-series 3-1 being played at AdventHealth Center in Lake Buena Vista.
The Lakers are one victory away for winning their first NBA title in 10 years. They would tie the Boston Celtics with the most NBA championships in league history with 17.
Los Angeles moved out to a 27-22 lead at the end of one quarter and held a slight lead 49-47 at halftime. Miami fell behind by seven points and trailed 75-70 after three quarters. The Lakers went on a 17-8 run and led 100-81 with 39.5 seconds remaining in the fourth.
The Heat were led by Jimmy Butler who had 22 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists. Tyler Herro put together 21 points and seven rebounds. Bam Adebayo scored 17 points and Duncan Robinson had 15 points.
LeBron James compiled a double-double for the Lakers with 22 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists. Anthony Davis had 22 points and nine rebounds while Kentavious Caldwell-Pope dropped in 15 points.
