Keith Yandle Going To Flyers

Former Florida Panthers defenseman Keith Yandle is expected to join the Philadelphia Flyers. He will sign a one-year deal worth $900,000. Yandle was bought out of the remainder of his contract by the Panthers on July 15.
Yandle played five seasons with Florida and never missed one regular season contest. He helped the Panthers reach for postseason in consecutive years for the first time since 1996 and 1997. Yandle compiled 30 goals and 201 assists in 371 games with the Panthers.
The Flyers will give Yandle the chance for the upcoming season to become the iron man in the National Hockey League. Yandle has played in 922 consecutive games and is 42 games behind Doug Jarvis for first all-time in NHL history.
