Marlins Telecasts For 2012
The Miami Marlins will have their telecasts on Fox Sports Florida for the 2012 season. Rich Waltz and Tommy Hutton return for their eighth season together in the broadcast booth. Waltz joined in 2005 as the television play-by-play announcer when he replaced Len Kasper, who moved to announce the Chicago Cubs. Hutton has been the television game analyst with the team since their championship season in 1997. He replaced the late Gary Carter. Fox Sports Florida will split duties for the pregame show, postgame show and sideline reporter between Craig Minervini, Frank Forte and Allison Williams. There will be one change in road broadcasts this season. The host of the pregame and postgame will be in the Fox Sports Florida studio in Sunrise with former Marlins Cliff Floyd and Preston Wilson.
