The Miami Heat have made a three-team deal and have traded center Chris Andersen and two second round draft picks to the Memphis Grizzlies. The Heat will receive point guard Brian Roberts from the Charlotte Hornets while guard Courtney Lee goes from Memphis to Charlotte.
Andersen, who was known as Birdman, played four seasons with the Heat and helped the club win an NBA title in 2013 along with being Eastern Conference champions on two occasions. He had previous played for the Denver Nuggets and the New Orleans Hornets prior to joining Miami as a free agent in January 2013.
