Former WPLG-TV Channel 10 reporter MJ Acosta will be joining KNSD-TV in San Diego as a sports anchor on Sunday. She had been associated with WPLG since February 2013 reporting on sports, news and the entertainment industry.
Acosta, a Barry University grad, worked as a sportscaster for Generation Next Youth Sports Network in Miami from 2011 until 2013. She was a former Miami Dolphins cheerleader and finished in top three at the 2011 Miss Florida USA pageant.
