Former local sportswriter Israel Gutierrez will have a new co-host for the ESPN Radio late evening show beginning on September 26 as Sarah Spain replaces Jorge Sedano in that spot. Sedano shifted to the morning co-host role at KSPN-AM in Los Angeles and starts on September 21.
Gutierrez was the longtime Miami Heat beat reporter for the Miami Herald during the 2000s. He was the afternoon co-host with Ethan Skolnick on 790 The Ticket WAXY-AM from September 2015 until late November 2015. He left there and joined Jorge Sedano as a late evening co-host on ESPN Radio this past February.
