Local sportswriter Antwan Staley is leaving South Florida to join MLB.com as a Baltimore Orioles beat reporter. He was a Miami Dolphins reporter with USA Today The Dolphins Wire for the last couple of years.
Staley, an East Carolina University grad, had worked as a college football reporter for Athlon Sports. He also did freelance work covering the Florida Panthers from 2014 to 2016. Staley was a guest evening co-host on Sports Talk 790 The Ticket WAXY-AM from 2015 until 2019 with Josh Friedman and later Greg Likens.
