Former Marlins outfielder Cameron Maybin is expected to join the San Francisco Giants. He will try to get a roster spot on the club in spring training for the regular season.
Maybin had two stints with the Marlins franchise. He joined the Florida Marlins when he was acquired in an eight-player trade from the Detroit Tigers for Miguel Cabrera and Dontrelle Willis in December 2007. Maybin played three seasons with the Fish from 2008 until 2010. He was with the Miami Marlins for 99 games in 2018 and was then traded to the Seattle Mariners.
