Len Weiner finished in 25th place among the top 25 program directors of sports radio stations in the United States by Barrett Sports Media for 2018. He has worked at numerous markets over the last 25 years.
Weiner has been the program director of Sports Talk 790 The Ticket WAXY-AM since March 2014. He added the role of program director at Miami Sports Radio 560 WQAM-AM in February 2018 when he replaced Ryan Maguire.
He first programmed a sports station at KMPC-AM in Los Angeles and moved to ESPN Radio in Connecticut. Weiner then had stints at WMVP-AM and WGN-AM in Chicago. He went to Boston and worked at WAMG-AM.
Weiner headed down to Florida and became the program director at Genesis Communications in Tampa. He led WHBO-AM, WWBA-AM and WMGG-AM from 2011 until March 2014.
