The Phoenix Suns got by the Miami Heat 124-121 at American Airlines Arena on Monday night. The Heat have lost their last six games at home. The Suns, who have the worst record in the NBA, snapped their longest losing streak in franchise history of 17 games.
Miami(26-33) got up 29-23 after one quarter and stayed ahead 63-52 by halftime. Phoenix(12-50) trailed 87-84 at the end of three quarters and won the contest in the final minute of the fourth.
Hassan Whiteside had the game-high with 29 points and 11 rebounds for the Heat. Kelly Olynyk contributed 28 points for the Heat while Bam Adebayo fell short of a double-double with 14 points and nine rebounds. Devin Booker led the Suns with 20 points and nine assists.
