Former Miami radio sportscaster David Schultz has left his position as the morning show host and program director at 103.7 The Game in Lafayette, Louisiana. He joined that organization in September 2013 and his final day on the program was on March 15. His show was simulcast on television at KXKW-TV.
Schultz, a SUNY-Oswego grad, worked at Sports Radio 560 WQAM-AM in Miami from 2009 until 2011. He was the Florida Marlins and Florida Panthers sports reporter along with being a sports anchor and a fill-in host at that station.
He had made several stops as a minor league baseball radio play-by-play announcer from 1992 to 2005. Some of the clubs he was employed with included the Syracuse Chiefs, Harrisburg Senators, Somerset Patriots, Jacksonville Suns and Peoria Chiefs.
Schultz was a media liaison with PGA Tour events at Doral Golf Resort & Spa in Miami from 2005 until 2011. He was a membership manager at Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo from 2011 to 2013.
