The Miami Dolphins have signed quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick. It is a two-year deal for $11 million. He is expected to become their starting quarterback replacing Ryan Tannehill.
Fitzpatrick played the last two seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He had 164 completions for 2,366 passing yards and 17 touchdown passes in eight games last season.
He was drafted by the St. Louis Rams back in the 2005 NFL Draft during the seventh round. He had a stint with them along with the Cincinnati Bengals, Buffalo Bills, Tennessee Titans, Houston Texans and New York Jets.
