The Miami Marlins have released pitcher Dan Straily. He is expected to become a free agent on Wednesday after he goes through waivers.
Straily played the last two seasons with the club and was acquired from the Cincinnati Reds in January 2017. He went 10-9 in 2017 and 5-6 in 2018. Straily started in 56 games with Miami and had 269 strikeouts and a 4.20 ERA over the past two years.
