Hornets Sink Heat

     The Charlotte Hornets took the Miami Heat 110-105 at Spectrum Center on Friday night. The Heat have now lost six consecutive games. 
     Charlotte(23-22) blasted out to a 40-23 lead after one quarter and were way ahead 72-49 at halftime. Miami(22-24) tried to cut into the deficit and were down 92-79 at the end of third quarter. 
     The Hornets had a 105-88 lead with 4:35 remaining in the final quarter. The Heat scored 12 straight points and went on a 20-3 run in the last four minutes of the contest, however it was still not enough. 
     Jimmy Butler was barely short of a double-double with 20 points and nine assists for Miami. Duncan Robinson dropped in 20 points while Trevor Ariza had 14 points and nine rebounds. Bam Adebayo contributed 17 points along with eight rebounds. 
     Malik Monk came off the bench and poured in a game-high 32 points for Charlotte. Terry Rozier got 26 points and 11 assists for a double-double. Devonte' Graham had 16 points and eight assists.
