Heat Battle Down Knicks

     The Miami Heat outdueled the New York Knicks 109-99 at Kaseya Center on Tuesday night. The Heat, who began a short two-game homestand, will finish the 2023-24 regular season with a winning record. 
     Miami(42-33) powered out to a 34-22 advantage after one quarter. The Heat were able to stay ahead 58-43 at halftime. 
     New York(44-31) chipped away at the lead early in the second half and trailed 83-73 at the end of the third quarter. The Knicks tied it up 92-92 with 3:59 left in the fourth quarter. Miami then went of a 17-7 spurt for the remainder of the game. 
     Terry Rozier showed up for Miami with a game-high 34 points. Jimmy Buttler added 17 points in the victory. Bam Adebayo fell short of a double-double as he chalked up 15 points and nine rebounds. Donte DiVincenzo compiled a club-high 31 points for the Knicks.
