Fitzpatrick signed a three-year extension worth $30 million with the Jets following the deal today through the 2029 season.
Fitzpatrick was selected 10th overall by Miami in the 2018 NFL Draft. He played 18 games in his first two NFL seasons with the Dolphins in 2018 and 2019 before being traded to the Pittsburgh Steelers in September 2019.
After a six-season stint with the Steelers, he was sent by them back to the Dolphins for defensive back Jalen Ramsey and tight end Jonnu Smith in June 2025. Fitzpatrick had one interception in 14 games last season with the Dolphins.
