Inter Miami CF Moves On D.C. United

Inter Miami CF rattled D.C. United 2-1 on Saturday afternoon at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore. The game was moved from D.C. United's home venue Audi Park due to three times larger attendance availability.
The Herons continued their long road trip to begin the MLS regular season. The team visited The White House in Washington D.C. back on Thursday.
Inter Miami CF(2-1-0) stormed out to a 1-0 advantage in the 17th minute of play. Rodrigo De Paul blasted a right-footed shot from 13 yards out.
The Herons increased their lead to 2-0 during the 27th minute. Lionel Messi chipped an eight-yard shot with his left leg by the goalie. It turned out to be Messi's 899th goal of his professional career.
In the second half, D.C. United(1-2-0) closed the deficit to 2-1 in the 75th minute. Tai Baribo tapped in a left-footed rebound shot from three yards into an empty cage.
