He then became the Florida Panthers Radio Network studio host entering the 2005-06 season. Agler then shifted to studio host of the Florida Marlins Radio Network.
Agler has a short stint as a weekend sports anchor at Sports Talk 790 The Ticket WAXY-AM. He returned to WQAM as a sports anchor and the University of Miami Hurricanes radio studio host.

He joined the Padres in January 2014 as a digital host, radio studio host and fill-in radio play-by-play announcer. He became the secondary radio play-by-play announcer in 2016. Agler was elevated to the primary radio play-by-play voice when Ted Leitner retired prior to the 2021 season.
