Sciambi joined the Florida Marlins Radio Network as a studio host in 1997 and added duties as a radio play-by-play announcer in 1999. He left the Marlins organization after the 2004 season and joined ESPN. Sciambi also worked at Sports Talk 790 The Ticket WAXY-AM as a midday host in 2004 and 2005.
