Shooting guard Dion Waiters will continue to stay with the Miami Heat. He agreed to a four-year, $52 million deal to remain with the club. Waiters made stops with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Oklahoma City Thunder earlier in his NBA career.
He joined the Heat as a free agent last season and signed a one-year contract. Waiters played 46 games with Miami in 2016-17 as he averaged 15.8 points per game, 4.3 assists per game and a career-high .394 three-point percentage.
