The Miami Marlins blanked the Texas Rangers 4-0 at Globe Life Park on Monday night. The Fish moved to 3-1 on their current six-game road swing.
Miami(45-52) jumped ahead 2-0 in the first inning. Giancarlo Stanton blasted a two-run homer to left field with Dee Gordon scoring in front of him.
The Marlins added another run during the top of the sixth. Marcell Ozuna hit a double into deep center field for Christian Yelich to score and made it 3-0.
In the eighth inning, Stanton smashed his second home run of the contest against Texas(48-51). It tied him with Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees for the most home runs in the majors this year with 32.
