Dodgers Roll By Marlins

The Los Angeles Dodgers won their seventh consecutive game with a 6-4 victory over the Miami Marlins at Marlins Park on Friday night. It was the first game for both clubs since Sunday due to the All-Star Game break.
Los Angeles(62-29) scored first in the top of the second. A fielding error by Dee Gordon caused Joc Pederson to score on the play.
Miami(41-47) tied it up 1-1 in the bottom of the fourth. J.T. Realmuto knocked in Martin Prado on a base hit into center field.
The Dodgers get solo home runs during the fifth inning. Yasiel Puig connected with a homer on the first pitch to left field and Corey Seager ripped a ball over the fence in right on a 2-2 count.
The Marlins battled back in the bottom of the frame with three runs to take their first lead of the contest. Gordon scored on a double by Giancarlo Stanton to center field. Justin Bour later drove in Stanton and Marcell Ozuna with a double to right-center field for a 4-3 margin.
The game was decided in the ninth inning. Puig blasted a three-run homer to left-center field on a 1-2 pitch as Pederson and Trayce Thompson scored. It was the second home run for Puig on the day and 18th of the season.
