Juventus beat Paris Saint-Germain 3-2 in an International Champions Cup match at Hard Rock Stadium on Wednesday night. It was the first time that Miami had hosted an International Champions Cup contest since Liverpool faced Manchester United for the championship game in August 2014.
Barcelona and Real Madrid will challenge each other Saturday on the same field. It will be just the second time ever that both clubs play each other in El Clasico outside of Spain.
Juventus scored late in the first half during the 45th minute. Gonzalo Higuian performed a give-and-go outside of the penalty area with Paulo Dybala and scored from 15 yards out to give The Old Lady a 1-0 lead. There was more scoring in the second half.
PSG was able to even it up 1-1 in the 53rd minute. Angel Di Maria made a square pass across the crease and Goncalo Guedes tapped in the ball from four yards away.
Juve regained the lead 2-1 during the 62nd minute. Claudio Machisio scored on a 21-yard shot on an assist from Moise Kean.
In the 80th minute, Paris Saint-Germain tied it up again. Layvin Kurzawa crossed the ball into the box and Javier Pastore put in a header into the back of the net.
Kean was taken down in the penalty area in the 88th minute. Juventus went up 3-2 on a penalty kick by Marchisio during the 89th minute.
