The Dodgers struck first in the top of the third to lead 1-0. Mookie Betts hammered a solo homer to left field on a 0-1 pitch for his 30th home run of the season.
The Marlins tied it up 1-1 in the fourth inning. Brian Anderson singled to left field and Jon Berti crossed the plate.
Miami took their only lead of the game during the bottom of the sixth. Jerar Encarnacion got a base hit through the left side and Joey Wendle scored.
