Orlando Franklin Promoted At KKFN-FM

Orlando Franklin has been elevated to afternoon co-host at KKFN-FM in Denver. He began his second stint at that radio station in June as an evening co-host. Franklin was part of the San Francisco 49ers coaching staff from August 2021 until earlier this year.
He was with KKFN for three years. Franklin joined as a Sunday morning host in August 2018 and was promoted to late morning co-host in August 2019. He left that organization in August 2021 for a San Francisco 49ers coaching position.
Franklin was an offensive lineman with the Atlantic Eagles from 2003 to 2006. The team was eliminated in the FHSAA Class 5A Playoffs by the St. Thomas Aquinas Raiders during his final three years in high school football. He participated in 51 games with the University of Miami Hurricanes from 2007 to 2010.
The Denver Broncos selected him 46th overall in the 2011 National Football League Draft. Franklin spent the first four seasons of his seven-season NFL career with the Broncos.
