Dolphins Leap By Ravens

The Miami Dolphins pulled off an incredible comeback in the fourth quarter to defeat the Baltimore Ravens 42-38 at M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday. The Dolphins trailed by 21 points entering the fourth quarter. It was the first time Miami has erased a fourth-quarter deficit of at least three touchdowns to win a game in regulation since 1997.
Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa tied a club record with six touchdown passes in one game. He became the fifth quarterback in NFL history with four touchdown passes in the fourth quarter.
Two Miami(2-0) wide receivers had at least 10 pass receptions, 150 receiving yards and two touchdown catches in a regular season game. Tyreek Hill compiled 11 catches for 190 receiving yards and two touchdowns scored while Jaylen Waddle chalked up 11 pass receptions for 171 receiving yards and two touchdowns
Baltimore(1-1) quarterback Lamar Jackson set some new records in the losing effort. The Boynton Beach High School grad became the first quarterback in National Football League history with a touchdown run of more than 75 yards and a touchdown pass of at least 75 yards in a contest. He also passed Michael Vick with the most games rushing for at least 100 yards by a quarterback by accomplishing it for the 11th time.
The Ravens had a 35-14 lead entering the fourth quarter. Tagovailoa tossed a two-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver River Cracraft in the back of the end zone at the 12:18 mark.
The Dolphins would score touchdowns on their next two possessions. Tagovailoa connected a 48-yard pass up the middle to Hill at 7:54 remaining and found Hill wide open on the left sideline on a 60-yard pass play with 5:27 left.
Baltimore kicker John Tucker booted a 51-yard field goal with 2:23 to go. Miami rolled down the field and capped their last drive with a Tagovailoa pass to Waddle in the front of the end zone with 23 seconds left in regulation.
