Braves Bomb Marlins

The Atlanta Braves smashed the Miami Marlins 8-1 at Truist Field on Friday night. The Marlins began a six-game road trip. The Braves will finish the 2022 regular season with a winning record.
Miami(55-76) got out to a 1-0 lead in the top of the third. Their only run happened when Jerar Encarnacion walloped the first pitch over the right-field fence for his second career home run.
Atlanta(82-51) put up four runs in the bottom of the fourth. Travis d'Arnaud and Vaughn Grissom both connected with two-run homers.
The Braves continued the home run parade later in the contest. Michael Harris II had a two-run homer in the sixth inning while Austin Riley and d'Arnaud bashed solo home run in the bottom of the seventh.
