Phillies Skip By Marlins

The Miami Marlins fell to the Philadelphia Phillies 3-2 at Citizens Bank Park on Tuesday night. The Marlins lost their eighth consecutive contest and their 10th in their last 11 games. It was the beginning of a three-game series between both clubs.
Philadelphia(74-61) jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the third. Edmundo Sosa blasted a solo homer off the left-field foul pole for his first home run in a Phillies uniform.
Miami(55-79) made it 1-1 in the top of the fourth. Brian Anderson singled up the middle and Joey Wendle crossed the plate.
The Phillies regained the lead 2-1 during the sixth inning. Alec Bohm popped a sacrifice fly into left field and Sosa scored as he collided with the catcher at the plate.
The Marlins tied it up 2-2 in the top of the eighth. Anderson hit a sacrifice fly to right field for Charles Leblanc to score.
In the ninth inning, the Phils broke the tie with a walk-off win. After a Bryce Harper double inside the left-field line, he reached home on a Jean Segura base hit into right field.
